Bill Nighy and Rachel Weisz thriller filmed in Cambridge and Saffron Walden set to air on BBC.
TV viewers tuning in to an all-star spy thriller tomorrow will find it has a familiar ring as much of it was shot in Cambridge and Saffron Walden.
Page Eight, screened on BBC2 at 9pm, tells the story of an MI5 agent's attempts to investigae a threat to the stability of the country's security services, after his boss and best friend dies suddenly. He is forced to walk out of his job, and then out of his identity, to find out the truth.

Bill Thompson, Chair of the Cambridge Film Trust have been co-opted to EM-Media's board in an advisory capacity to ensure full representation from the East of England.
EM-Media is the screen agency for the East Midlands. The appointments follow the expansion of their geographical remit since the demise of Screen East in 2010. Film Link works in close partnership with EM-Media and Screen South to deliver locations services for the East. Full story on

Elstree Studios celebrates 85th anniversary and four Oscars for The King’s Speech.
Roger Morris, MD of Elstree Studios, pays tribute to the studios past history and current success. "The King’s Speech is the most awarded and nominated film in Elstree studios’ illustrious eighty five year history. It's great for Elstree and film production in the UK."

Elstree Studios celebrates its 85th anniversary as four Oscars have been awarded to British film The King’s Speech.
Kerry Ixer, formerly of Screen East locations department and now director of Film Link which was launched in January 2011 at Elstree Studios, supported the production of the King’s Speech while it was filmed on location at three properties in the region.
