International residential workshop
- Screen Writing for Writers & Producers


There is an opportunity to spend two intensive days in Odense (Denmark) with experienced multi award winning author, screenwriter and director Brendan Foley, Hollywood production heavyweight Ned Dowd and producer and film executive, Lars Hermann. The workshop will be in English and cover screenwriting issues in general but will also cover adaptation of novels.

The workshop is aimed at reasonably experienced writers with limited or some experience with screen writing and producers interested in knowing more about the screenwriting process and interaction with writers. For more information download the flyer below.

The University of Hertfordshire

The University of Hertfordshire offers a range of film and digital media courses in a modern campus setting. Just 20 minutes from London by train the university campus has extensive facilities which are are a major attraction for students and staff. As well as traditional 2D and 3D design studios they offer media workshops. A purpose-built £10.5 million Digital Facilities Building provides 4,500 square metres of work space for the expanding range of media activities which includes:

The Advanced Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media

West Herts College in Watford, Hertfordshire is a Skillset Media Academy offering the new advanced Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media. The apprenticeship is a nationally recognised qualification to recruit and train a workforce. West Herts College has introduced a roll-on, roll-off programme which means organisations can employ apprentices at any point in the year and are not bound to an academic calendar. In addition, the major part of the apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace eliminating the need for learners to come to college.
